Please download the GenOpt installation program genopt-install-3-0-0.jar.
Note for users of Microsoft Internet Explorer: Internet Explorer may save the file with the extension .zip instead of .jar. To avoid this, click "Save Target As..." (using the right mouse button) and then enter as the file name "genopt-install-3-0-0.jar". (Or use Firefox to avoid this problem.)

If your operating system associates jar files with java, double-click the file to start the installation. Otherwise, open a command shell, change to the directory that contains genopt-install-3-0-0.jar and type java -jar genopt-install-3-0-0.jar. GenOpt can be installed in any directory.

System requirements

To install and run GenOpt, Java needs to be installed on your computer. Java Runtime Environment (JRE) v1.5.0 is the minimum requirement. Java can be downloaded from Sun Microsystems.
